by Joe Lumic

There are popularity trends for everything, but some themes survive the test of time. These classic themes often come back stronger on every reincarnation, and the Lost City of Atlantis is certainly an idea which never loses its appeal.

Imaginary cities will always appeal because they can be created to be literally anything. The programmers who specialize in games usually have a desire to escape the real world, so visiting their creation will probably prove worthwhile, especially when there is no information to limit their imaginations. Who needs reality when you can visit other worlds?

1. Gripping Story - Traveling to Atlantis will take you through many ancient worlds including Rome, Egypt, Carthage, Greece and Babylon, creating a world you will want to return to. The story has a beginning, a middle and an end and you will certainly find it captivating.

2. And The Game Goes On - There is nothing worse than finishing a game and feeling that you want it to go on. There are seventy six levels for you to explore in order to find Atlantis, so you will enjoy all of them. Short games, although easy to complete can be very frustrating, the longer games are usually a more complete experience.

3. Not Expensive " Dont forget that games on a PC or Mac can be just as good fun as the games for Wii, Playstation and other formats, but without the extra costs. It is now cheap and easy to get hold of games for PC and Mac which are great fun. Also since you can download them you can start playing straight away.

The level of stress in out lives seems to get higher and higher as every year goes on. When we got our first home computer, it was all about having fun. When did we forget this and think that computers were for work and emails only? Games are a great way to escape and hence a great way to unwind at the end of a stressful day.

We are all tightening out belts at the moment, but it doesn't mean that we should give up everything. A game is a great way to escape and enjoy a beautiful city without leaving home.

So what is stopping you from escaping to the lost world?

Exploring Wildwood Glen in Dizzywood

July 30, 2009 by Alice Barker · Leave a Comment

by Alice Barker

Explore Dizzywood's enchanted forest, Wildwood Glen. As you enter Wildwood Glen you will see a grand statue on your right. Click on this monument to hear the history of the forest. The original forest was destroyed by Emperor Withering and his Chopbots. Eventually the forest was able to be replanted and it was saved!

If you're inspired by the story of Wildwood Glen and want to start gardening yourself, visit with the Leaf Sprite. Play him in a game of Word Race to win seeds. The Leaf Sprite can also swap the seeds you already have for a new selection.

Collect an array of other plants in Wildwood Glen to receive coins. These plants include the flowers thistlepeach, and spindlebrush, mushrooms fittingly named plushrooms, and tree bark known as bristlesap. Purple balls littering the forest floor are bubbling mulch. Step over every one you see to collect enough to fill a bucket. Once you've filled a bucket you'll get 3 coins. Bring each bucket of mulch you get to Katherine de Claw in the Garden Gazebo. This mulch helps her to make her famous Moxie Mulch, a great source of nutrients for plants growing in the garden. She'll even give you a reward for all your help.

Look closely amongst the trees for a perched treehouse. It was carefully camouflaged by Spy Bear. It can only be accessed using a Grappling Hook. You can get this tool by going on the "Find the Grappling Hook" mission.

Wildwood Glen also holds the entry path for the Gnarl. The Gnarl is home to the Rat Wraith, one of the game bosses. Marked by a skull and crossbones this realm is not to be entered by the faint of heart. You will be warned if you're not yet ready to face Rat Wraith.

Movie Reviews By Brandon

With a shop near every neighborhood, video stores have been the most convenient way to get movies for years. The next generation it seems will be getting their movies from movie downloads, avoiding any trips to the store. Below, is a sample of some of the movies you can find using movie download sites.

Reckless: Disobedient adolescent from incorrect side of tracks takes up with un-crooked-arrow college girl, who finds in him a sense of jeopardy and enthusiasm missing from her content presence. Nothing here we haven't seen in 1950s films in regards to disassociated youth-with the exception of some extremely modern day sex scenes chills and giggles don't add up to much. Not for the faint-hearted. Cast includes Aidan Quinn, Daryl Hannah, Kenneth McMillan, Lois Smith, Adam Baldwin, Dan Hedaya, and Jennifer Grey. (90 minutes, 1984)

Ratatoulli: This animated family movie is the story of a rat named Remy, who dreams of being a well renowned French cook. He makes his way to Paris to live out his dream. He eventually teams up with a clumsy kitchen helper in a famous restaurant to try and live out his dream.

Jupiter's Wife: Gripping documentary in regards to a middle-aged destitute female whom filmmaker Negroponte chanced to confront in NY's Medial Parle She claims to have ESP and be the spouse of the lord Jupiter and baby girl of the late performer Robert Ryan! Negroponte delves into her past and finds relatively a few astonishments in this incredibly moving picture of a shattered life. (78 minutes, 1994)

Goldeneye: In this 007 adventure Pierce Bronson plays the part of James Bond. The codes to a newly developed space weapon Goldeneye have been stolen. Bond heads to Russia, in search of the lost codes. His adversaries turn out to be former agent 006, Alec Trevelyan, along with Xenia Onatopp, a deadly assassin. 007 will need all his skills, as he travels from Russia, to the jungles of Cuba to recover the codes, and keep Goldeneye out of evil hands.

Night of the Grizzly: Tolerable Western of rancher Stroller conquering all barriers, even a insistent nasty bear, to Western life. Cast includes Joseph Pevney, Clint Stroller, Martha Hyer, Keenan Wynn, Nancy Kulp, Ron Ely, Regis Toomey, and Jack Ela. (102 minutes, 1966)

Adam's Apples: This movie is a bizarre dark comedy about two very different men who have a battle of wills. It is a newly developed religious zealot versus a hard core neo-Nazi criminal. The battle of good versus evil is on. The main stars are Ulrich Thomsen, Mads Mikkelsen, Nicolas Bro, and Paprika Steen. (German-Danish-comedy directed by Anders Thomas Jensen)

So Dear to My Hear: What a nostalgic Disney film in regards to youthful boy's determination to raise black cattle and bring him to the State Fair opposition. Brimming with period charm and environment; few excited patterns, too. Melodies contain "Lavender Blue Dilly." The screenplay is by John Tucker Battle, from Sterling North's novel Middle of the night and Jeremiah. Cast includes Burl Ives, Beulah Bondi, Bobby Driscoll, Luana Patten, and Harty Carey. (84 minutes, 1949)

D2: The Mighty Ducks: Hockey player Gordon Bombay is out for the year with a knee injury. Surprisingly he is given the job of head coach of Team USA for The Goodwill Games coming up. Many of the players are former Mighty Ducks players. Can they come together to pull off a big upset and win the world championships?

The Prince and the Showgirl: Considerate although dull-moving comedy of saucy American show gal Monroe being courted by Prince Regent of Carpathia Olivier throughout the 1911 coronation of George V. Filmed in England, with admirable behaviors by Monroe and Olivier. Cast includes Laurence Olivier, Sybil Thorndike, Jeremy Spencer, and Richard Wattis. (117 minutes, 1957)

Okay, if your looking for downloads, try phrases like "Video Rentals". Not all searches get the right result. If the first one fails to work out try another one. Try "Music Downloads Services" next.

Computer Career Training And Study In Your Own Home – Options

July 28, 2009 by Jason Kendall · Leave a Comment

by Jason Kendall

A very small number of men and women in the UK today are enjoying job satisfaction. The vast majority of course will do nothing about it. You've reached this paragraph, which surely tells us that you know it's time to make a change.

It's advisable to get some help before you start - find someone who knows the industry; an advisor who can get to the bottom of what you'll like in a job, and then show you the training programs that will suit you:

* Do you like to be around others at work? Perhaps you like being a team player? Maybe you like to deal with tasks that you can get on with on your own?

* Are you thinking carefully about which sector you maybe could work in? (These days, it's more important than ever to choose carefully.)

* Do you want this to be the only time you will need more qualifications?

* Are you happy that the training program you've chosen will offer you employment opportunities, and make it possible to work right up to the time you want to stop?

Pay attention to the IT industry, that will be time well spent - you'll find it's one of the only growth areas in this country and overseas. In addition, salaries and benefits exceed most other industries.

Sometimes, individuals don't comprehend what information technology is all about. It is electrifying, revolutionary, and means you're doing your bit in the gigantic wave of technology affecting everyones lives in the 21st century. Technology, computers and interaction through the internet will spectacularly alter the way we live our lives in the near future; incredibly so.

Should receiving a good salary be high on your scale of wants, you will welcome the news that the regular income for a typical IT worker is a lot better than salaries in much of the rest of industry. Because the IT market sector is still growing nationally and internationally, one can predict that the search for well trained and qualified IT technicians will flourish for quite some time to come.

Often, students don't think to check on a vitally important element - how their company segments the training materials, and into how many bits. Usually, you'll join a programme that takes between and 1 and 3 years and receive a module at a time. It seems to make sense on one level, but consider these issues: What would their reaction be if you find it difficult to do each and every module at the speed they required? Sometimes their preference of study order doesn't work as well as an alternative path could be.

An ideal situation would be to have every piece of your study pack delivered to you right at the start; the entire thing! Then, nothing can hinder your capability of finishing.

Workshops can be portrayed as a strong aspect by a lot of trainers. When you talk to many IT students who have used them, you'll likely realise that they've now become a major negative as they hadn't properly considered the following:

* A lot of journeys to the workshops - usually 100's of miles.

* Weekday only accessibility with classes can be usual, and with two or three days required at a time, this is usually problematic for a lot of trainees who are working.

* Lost holiday days - many IT hopefuls are given only twenty days of leave annually. If over half of it is swallowed up by study classes, that isn't going to leave much vacation time for the family as a whole.

* 'In-Centre' workshop days normally end up way too big.

* Maybe you like to work at a different pace to others in the class. Sometimes this causes a classic case of 'classroom tension'.

* Tot up the cost of all the travel, fares, accommodation, parking and food and you may be surprised (and not pleasantly). Trainees mention extra costs of between several hundred and a couple of thousand pounds. Work it out - and see for yourself.

* Keeping your training private from your employer can be high on the list of priorities to a lot of attendees. Why lose any possible promotions, salary hikes or achievement in your job because you're getting trained in a different area. If your work discovers you've committed to qualification in another area entirely, what do you think they'll do?

* Surely, all of us at some time have avoided asking a question, because we didn't want to look stupid?

* You should remember, events become pretty much undoable, in cases where you live away for some of the month.

It obviously makes a lot more sense to be trained when it suits you -- not the training company - and utilise videos of instructors with interactive virtual-lab's. Training can take place wherever it suits you. If you have a laptop, why not catch some fresh air in your garden as you work. Any issues that arise just get onto the live 24x7 support. You can go back and re-cover all the study modules as many times as you want to. There's absolutely no need to jot down any notes because the class is available whenever you want it. The outcome: Reduced stress, saved money, and absolutely no travelling.

Top Tips For Finding And Playing PS3 Game Downloads

July 27, 2009 by Adrian Addison · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Video Games
by Roy Rogers

The ps3 games download sources should be as fast as possible. This will reduce the time spent in the downloading process, letting you play more of your game. The servers storing the games should be easily accessible, allowing simultaneous access from different ports at the same time, without the servers crashing due to overloading.

Registration for the ps3 games download website must give the user unrestricted access to all downloads in the website. Some ps3 games download websites may restrict or give partial access, requiring you to pay additional fees, or do specific duties to gain access to some features. This is a drawback to the growth of the website and the user's enjoyment. In addition to the above, the selection of ps3 games download should be very wide.

Another ideal quality of a good ps3 games download source is the ability to give free expert technical and training support to all its members. You shouldn't pay an extra penny to get assistance.

The support or customer care should be set to operate 24 hours a day, and if possible, on real time such as through chats. In other cases, emails and support tickets may be used in addition to phone calls.

The payment asked for the ps3 games download service should be processed anytime without any hidden charges. Many sites offer a lifetime membership for only a single one-time payment. Thus, these are probably much more beneficial than sites that offer memberships for a monthly charge, or have pay per download fees, which end up being really expensive after a few downloads.

The quality of the digital ps3 games download and other media, such as movies, music and software, should be of the highest quality possible. The digital nature of the download brings about very many advantages, such as portability, backing up and adjustments if there are any mistakes. The games and the other downloads must also be easy to install and play on both your computer and ps3.

For ease in transferring the ps3 games download, security must be ensured. It is common to find websites that have the game downloads, but you'll find it is impossible to download anything without a virus or spyware. In case any problems arise while downloading, you should be able to access assistance as fast as possible. The top ps3 games download sites make sure to avoid any viruses or spyware contaminating their collection.

Glyphs By Level For Retribution Paladins

July 26, 2009 by Marcus Prescotto · Leave a Comment

by Marcus Prescotto

You can find advice on talent builds pretty much anywhere, but no one ever bothers to tell you what glyphs you should be using for leveling. Most players seem to think that glyph choice is just a matter of preference, but I disagree. There are certain glyphs that are better for leveling than others, and that's where this guide comes in. I'll get rid of the guesswork for you so you can stop wasting gold on trying new glyphs and still level fast.

1. First Major Glyph (Level 15) - Glyph of Judgment. Your Judgments deal 10% more damage. There's nothing overly fancy about this one, it's just a straight DPS increase. Since Paladins have pretty weak DPS at the low levels and Judgment is one of your core spells, this is a pretty simple decision.

2. First Minor Glyph (Level 15) - Glyph of Blessing of Might. Increases the duration of your Blessing of Might spell by 20 min when cast on yourself. If you're using a Retribution build, odds are good that you are smashing things around a bit, and that means you should be using Blessing of Might more often than not. Extending the duration of your main buff is a good idea. Grab it.

3. Second Major Glyph (Level 30) - Glyph of Seal of Command. Increases the chance of dealing Seal of Command damage by 20%. This is the biggest damage increase at this level, and you should be using Seal of Command pretty much all the time, so it's the obvious spell to glyph. Trust me, once you try it, you'll love it.

4. Second Minor Glyph (Level 50) - Glyph of the Wise. Reduces the mana cost of your Seal of Wisdom spell by 50%. When you need to mana up, the less you have to invest to get yourself refilled, the better. Since you'll probably still be using Blessing of Might most of the time at this level, it's not worth grabbing any of the other minor glyphs yet.

5. Third Minor Glyph (Level 70) - Glyph of Lay on Hands. Reduces the cooldown of your Lay on Hands spell by 5 min. At this point it's less a question of "What's most useful?" than it is "What's less useless?". This glyph is mildly useful if you find yourself in bad spots more often than you should, but in general it's just filler. If you find yourself using other Blessings frequently, or you plan on grinding a lot of Undead, you may find one of the other minor glyphs more useful.

6. Third Major Glyph (Level 80) - Glyph of Crusader Strike. Reduces the mana cost of your Crusader Strike ability by 20%. It's nice to go longer without drinking. Since you'll be using Crusader Strike every time its up, this works out to a good bit of mana saved in the long run. If you find yourself in more AoE-friendly situations, you may want to get Glyph of Divine Storm instead.

Your mileage may vary. If you end up thinking that something I listed here isn't right for you, don't hesitate to swap it out. Different strokes for different folks and all that. It's my personal opinion as a professional WoW nerd that these are the best possible selections for leveling, but you have every right to feel differently. Either way, happy leveling!

Guide to Poptropica Shark Tooth Island

July 25, 2009 by Samuel Poppers · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Computer Games
by Samuel Poppers

Shark Tooth Island is one of the earlier islands in Poptropica and is one of the fastest and easiest to do. Here is a complete Shark Tooth Island Walkthrough to help you solve this fun and exciting adventure in the game. If you're fast you can complete the entire quest in about seven minutes.

You'll arrive by blimp on the island. When you get the, go all the way to the right and follow the sign marked for the Ancient Ruins. Of course, if you want to you can stop in the Shark Museum or the Coconut Cafe before you got, but they're not important for completing the adventure. Head through the next short transition room and then keep going to the right. You are now in the ancient ruins. Run all the way to the right. Keep an eye out for the giant dropping coconuts that fall from the tree as you head through the area. When you get to the far right side, you'll see the Booga Bay sign. Go right again.

Go right through this short room and then you'll arrive in lovely Booga Bay. Talk to the first guy you see at the Grass Skirts stand. He'll give you a grass skirt so that you will look like a native islander. Put on the grass skirt and then head back left to the ancient ruins. When you arrive in the ruins, jump over the big stone in the middle so that you are standing on the left side of it and then push it to the right until it is underneath the vine right next to the palm tree. Now jump up on the top of the block. Watch out for falling coconuts and then jump up again to catch the vine.

OK now keep climbing up the fine and going up the platforms. You'll arrive at the very top standing next to a guy in a mask. He is the local medicine man. Talk to him and he will tell you that deep in the temple you'll find a wall carving that shows you what you need ot bring to him. When you get all the ingredients, he will create a potion for you that you can use to take care of the big shark.

Jump down out of the tree and then go to the left. There will be an entrance to the temple right there. It's inside the big statue that kind of looks like a mouth. It has some spooky eyes in there and some cobwebs in the corners. Go inside the entrance and then go all the way down the first area with all the platforms.

Now you are on a platform. Don't worry about any of the platforms here. Just drop all the way to the bottom until you land in the green water. Then go left until you get to the end and then jump up all the way on the different platforms. You should be standing next to a green panel that kind of looks like a shark mouth with teeth. Click on the panel.

You now need to press the correct teeth buttons to open the door to the left. The right ones to click are the third, fourth, sixth and seventh from the left. When you click those four, press the triangle inbetween the eyes and the eyes will light up if you've done it correctly. This will open the doorway and then you can go through. Keep going through the next paassageway and then you will be in another large chamber. Jump and go all the way to the bottom. Run to the left until you get to the bottom of a large shark statue. Jump up on the statue and go over it, dropping down on the left side. Then run all the way to the left until you see a pile of bones. Run on top of the large white bone to pick it up.

Next you want to go back to the shark statue and climb/jump back on top of it. When you are standing on the top of it, jump up on the swinging platform and then keep going left until you get to a pit with spikes in the walls. Wait for the platform to slide next to you and then jump on it. When it reaches the other side, jump off and then head to the left. You will then go to another chamber. Jump down to the bottom and run all the way to the left. You will see a large pedestal with a container at the top. Inside that container is some green stuff. Jump up to get it. This is the key ingredient that the medicine man needs for the potoion. From here, jump onto the vine and climb up it to get out of the temple. Keep going up through the room with lots of platforms by jumping all the way up to the top.

Now you will appear back where you started next to a hole in the sand that wasn't there before. You will arrive right next to the guy who sells shark fins. Head a little bit to the right and there will be a guy in front of a booth next to the Coconut Cafe. Talk to him and he will give you some coconut milk. This is the last ingredient that you will need for the medicine man.

Now go to the right and head for the ancient ruins. Push the stone in the middle back underneath the vine next to the tree and go back up to visit the Medicine Man. He will take all of the ingredients and create a potion for you. You'll get the Calming Potion from him, which can be used to calm the Great Booga Shark. Jump off the tree to the right and head to Booga Bay.

After you arrive in Booga Bay, go to the right until you pass a fisherman and arrive at a cannon with a sign next to it that says, "Feed the Shark." Click on the cannon and point it up in the air and then click again to send the coconut with the potion in it into the bay. As soon as it lands in the water, the great Booga shark will appear and eat it. He'll turn green and then fall asleep below the water. Click on the "Back" button in the upper-right corner of the game to return to the main screen. Now you can safely cross the water while the shark is sleeping. Cross the island and you will come to a small island. Go right at the end and you will then arrive next to Professor Hammerhead.

Talk to Professor Hammerhead and he will thank you for rescuing him and the boy and ask you to lead them back to the mainland. Head to the left again and back across the water. Both the professor and the boy will follow you. When you arrive back to where the crying woman is standing, she will thank you for rescuing her son. Professor Hammerhead will then give you a gold medallion and you have completed the adventure. Congratulations!

Save Money With Xbox 360 Repair On Your Own

There are so many sources out there that you can use for directions on how to repair your Xbox 360. Taking the time to research it all the way through before doing it will be the key to your success. Repairing an Xbox 360 will not be all that difficult if you do the research and continue reading this article.

Repairing an Xbox 360 is not that hard, but is not something you want to put in the hands of a child. You will not need a degree at MIT in order to accomplish this task as long as you know how to follow directions, are able to use some basic tools, and have basic technical skills.

Now there are a lot of people out there that will read this article and just dive into their Xbox 360 without pause. However, there are some things that you need to look for before fixing the console yourself. The main thing that you are going to want to look at is whether or not your Xbox 360 is still under warranty. If it is you will want to just go ahead and send it back to Microsoft and let an expert do the work for you. If the console is still under warranty and you open the casing they will know and void the warranty. The main problem that most people have is the red ring of death error, which makes your system not work in anyway.

Xbox 360's have come along way since their inception to the problems that they are having. Right now you would be relieved to hear that only 6% of Xbox 360's that get the red ring of death error cannot be fixed. This means that if you are fixing if yourself and you follow the directions that are provided to you on how to fix it, you have very little chance of not completing you're task.

After purchasing the tools you need to fix the machine, jump online and find a legitimate guide that explains in detail the steps you will take to fix your system. Many guides that can be found online will also include tips and information on over heating consoles, graphic errors, and freeze ups. Within an hour you will have your gaming system back and ready to play on.

Letting Microsoft repair it under warranty is the best thing to do, because it will not cost you anything and they will guarantee their work. However, not under warranty will mean a hefty $150 charge to fix it, if you send it to them. So with that said if you can do it yourself you will save quite bit of money, and the entire headache that comes with it.

Online Games Are Fun

There's never been a bigger time for games - specifically online games, than right now. The reality that people have always enjoyed the competitive and mentally stimulating nature that a game can give is just a part of the reason.

What makes it so compelling via the Internet is that there are clear advantages that traditional game playing can't match.
